Carnival!

What would it be with out a Fall Carnival? Well, Abby's school had one. It is, however, completely inappropriate for smaller (read: younger) kids. So. so. So. So.... We had our own at home.. And They LOVED it..

We decided that none of us actually had the "face painting" skill so.. We got out the washable markers - and went to town.. And WOW.. Did some of us GO to town..


We needed a craft, so.. What says "Carnival" like - Making Bead Necklaces -.. Yeah.. I don't know either.. I just work at the show.. I don't produce it..

Well, like any TRUE carnival, the first thing you eat - FUNNEL CAKE!

POPCORN!! Yum! Oh.. wait we have this almost everyday.. And yet - still needed it..

You know what happens to popcorn when you hand a bucket of it to a 3 year old?? That's right.. it ends up ALL over the floor you JUST vacuumed.. And then STRAIGHT into their mouths.. Double Yum!

New Pictures!

I just realized how heinously behind I've been at adding new pictures to this. I'm REALLY really behind. So here's a big load of them.

Abby at the turtle release party. She was very sad to see Zippy go to find his family, but knows he will be happier out there.. In a pond.. With kids not dropping him continuously..

This is our "new" kitten Spider. He is a very very tolerant kitten. He likes to sleep in Mattie's blanket.. And will let Abby carry him.. and love him and do all sorts of bad things to him..

At Home Mud Day..

At their Mom's Day Out they have an annual Mud Day that was rained out. As a compromise we let them have one at home complete with shaving cream, hose, and 2 BIG cans of shaving cream. Lets just say, a mess was made.

This is what they do when left to their own devices.

Apparently nothing is funner than a big pool of mud and cans of shaving cream.

Birthday Party!

Matthew's birthday was a good time.. Although we do owe our good friends a BIG apology because apparently their invite got lost in the mail.. We are VERY SORRY!! :( And we missed you greatly since we even called you.. and then realized the mail man ate yours.. And then were embarrassed...
