Gymnastics Time!

It was "Take pictures at gymnastics" day today. And while really.. It's a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds playing around Abby looked so happy when I would take her picture.. So I kept doing it.. Because really.. Isn't that the point anyhow?

The Ice Walk of Doom

Well they are all decked out to go on a snow walk with Daddy.. Who took the "long" way.. The very very long way.. The very tooooo long way and brought home icy pops but.. They didn't seem to mind much.. And here they are.. All warmed back up.. Looking for a toy under the sofa.. Because that apparently where we like to keep our toys..

Random Christmas... Completely out of order.. But still..

Christmas Morning..

Christmas morning was a prolific morning for all. The kids clearly had a lovely time and got more than they could possibly need..



They got some pretty cool toys.. And since we are cheap.. 95% were used or on a super sale. YAY super sale! They LOOOOVVVE everything.. Mattie goes around from toy to toy saying.. "I like my toys.. I like my toys.." While not needed.. Very cool and appreciated.

As you can tell Christmas morning was complete with the complimentary bizarre outfits. Abby woke up at 4:30.. Unfortunately we had to take her to the urgent care center the day after and she had a raging double ear infections.. BUT.. alas.. All is on the way to mending and she seemed to not mind to much..

So Abby had her tonsils out and did well. She's mostly healed up now but well while she was on the pain meds, she liked to dance. And Dance she did.

Then of course the Tweedles decided it would be fun to get into the "Peanut Butter" which is not actually peanut butter but soy butter - but they don't know the difference. And Then it was bath time.

Dogs..

The newest addition - not counting Sammy 2 - is Minnie! Minnie is half Italian Mastiff and half Rhodesian Ridgeback. And she's just as cute as a button.. She is about 12 weeks old right now and as you can tell, the big boys loooooove her.. And as all kids do, so do Abby and Mattie. And Yes, Abby named her Minnie as in Minnie Mouse.

Cake -A - Rama.. Or.. Abby's Birthday.. Either way..

Everyone needs a little cake, fairies and fun.. Or in our case.. A lot of cake.. a lot of time consuming.. Cake- astrophe cakey goodness.. Ehhh .. Annnnd Abby is still convinced that it was NOT her 4th birthday party.. BUT a playdate... Yes. A playdate that happened to have had a candle to blow out, presents, a whole lot of friends, cake etc... But it was a playdate and not a birthday party.. Ahh yesss... They joys of deception. I actually DO have a pic of the 1/2 dog eaten cake, however it's on my phone... so gee.. can't share that one here... SOOO sad. WAAA WAAA.. And yes, Barbie DOES have a my little pony following. Abby said she's "always wanted a princess cake AND my little ponies.." So.. Viola.. This is what she got. She saw this kind of cake on some tv show or on the computer when I was looking at some recipe website and has talked about it and lets just say.. Next time.. Mommy is gonna cheat even more.. Not sure how.. But cheating will occur.. :)
