Our Beach Trip

THE BEACH

We took a trip to the lovely weathered Florida this summer. And while, the kids in theory would LOVE sand. Only half of the Tweedle Twins actually ENJOYED the prospect.. It turns out the picky, finicky texture specific Abby loved the sand and the copacetic Mattie couldn't stand it. And wouldn't stand on it.. Literally. Eventually he would poke it and shovel it a little but that was pretty much it.



Abby LOVED sand.. And sun.. and well almost anything except being told to go to bed..

Abby's Wound

So Abby tripped on the floor, fell into the sofa, and smashed her lip and ended up biting herself. Not too bad.. Until.. It became a huge festering wound. Yes, apparently human bites ARE the worst, even when you bite yourself. It's all very sad. But she is mostly healed now - after a week of antibiotics and lots and lots of Motrin.

Here Buzz Lightyear, Barbie, And Woody are playing ball. And posing of course. And Chris would be giving me a nasty contemptuous look if you could see him behind Barbie's hair.

Because I'm a bad bad person...

What else is there to do in the middle of the afternoon than sit around nakey eating oatmeal bars in the recliner with some juice?
Which twin is bigger? That is the question...


Now I must say he brought either Abby or me the outfits each time and said "I want to wear dress". The boy was not persuaded in any fashion.. Ok. He was a little.. But BWAHAHHAHAH it is forever captured..




They would be doing jazz hands.. For the camera of course.

So.. The newest is Abby has pneumonia, Mattie has some kind of croupy icky cough and both are grouchy and restless. Past that, as is obvious, they both enjoy playing dress up.. ALOT... Ohh yes.. and the previously posted kitten? Vinny.. Is.. a girl.. OOPS!!

Abby turned 3 on November 4th. We were very fortunate to have lots of family and friends help us celebrate and spoil her.
